Our organization, for our partners in many provinces of Turkey, carries out joint projects in order to create added value in the productivity of Simmental race animals. Raising of breeding heifers and consumption from livestock are contributed to meeting the meat need.
The animal known as Simmental race in our country is one of the most preferred breeds by animal breeders. Their specifications, which are being a disease resistant breed, easy adaptation to the climatic conditions in which they found, high meat and milk yield, has high progeny yield, being adaptation to crossbreeding with Holstein cows and being longevity, are among the reasons for being preferred. Due to its longevity and high yield, their prices are higher than other Holstein, Montofon, Native Black Cattle.

Physical Characteristics:
Live weight varies between 1100-1400 kg for males and 600-900 kg for females.
Cidego height varies between 150-165 cm in males and 138-150 cm in females.
Its colours are yellow-white pied or red-white pied.
Its head, forehead and eyelashes are white.
Home Range
Among the countries where Simmental cows are preferred, are countries like Austria and Germany. After they have been brought to Turkey as breeding, they are much in demand by manufacturers. Because it can easily adapt to any region, it can be grown in almost every region of Turkey. But primarily the eastern part of the Aegean Region, Central Anatolia Region and Eastern Anatolia Region is more favourable in Simmental breeding compared to our other regions in Turkey. It should not be forgotten that it adapts easily to any climatic conditions and adapts to the region.
It began to be exported to the Simmental breed raised in Turkey and it is in high demand. Our company continues its export activities to meet this demand.
