Kiwi fruit is rich in vitamins and nutritional value and has a decorative appearance. It is a kind of a little known fruit production in Turkey, and production has been started since about 15 years. Kiwi, whose homeland is China, has had a large share in the market as a result of investments and production activities in the Islamic Republic of Iran in the last 20 years. Kiwi growing in Turkey is rapidly spreading. Considering the existing fruit consumption habit, kiwi consumption has been spreading rapidly in recent years. It is possible to talk about 50.000 tons of consumption per year and at least 400 thousand tons of production potential. Kiwi production of our company in Iran is around 4,000 (four thousand) tons annually. With the production activity we have done, we take our place by importing and exporting in the world market.
